“Think Like a Futurist: Practical Tools for Uncertain Times”

I delivered the opening keynote at this national gathering of senior medical leaders, exploring the global forces reshaping New Zealand’s health sector. I encouraged delegates to lift their gaze from the daily pressures of their work and focus on the wider trends that will define the future of healthcare. Later, I led a team of facilitators in a workshop that challenged participants to these coming changes, asking “What should they start doing to help shape a preferred future?” and, crucially, “What should they stop doing?”.
