I delivered a keynote and led a futures workshop at Southern Cross Gather, speaking to over 400 HR, health and safety, wellbeing and business leaders from across New Zealand. From an ageing population to embedded AI, we looked at the big shifts reshaping workplaces and the signals already showing up. I shared how to scan for those signals, make sense of them, and spot the opportunities they open up for people and workplaces. Then, in the workshop, we explored the longer-term consequences of change and the practical steps leaders can take now. An online version with take-home tools meant remote participants could join in and keep using the approach with their teams.
